Apple Cider Vinegar

Good news ladies, apple cider vinegar is no longer just a basic staple kitchen ingredient.

This vinegar is actually beneficial for our hair and skin. According to the Huffington Post, “The acidity of apple cider vinegar counteracts that process and actually balances your skin and hair’s natural pH levels.” Apple cider vinegar protects our hair and skin from excess oils that derive from the products we use.

Many of the products we use are too harsh, stripping our hair and skin of their natural oils.

For this reason, it is important for us to invest in natural beauty care products instead. If you are less interested in switching over to natural beauty care, no worries. Apple cider vinegar can still be used with regular beauty products as a cleanse for hair and skin every once in a while. When choosing the vinegar, it is important to make sure the brand is organic and raw in order to get all of the necessary benefits from the product.

Here are a few brands of apple cider vinegar that can be purchased for under $10 in a local department store, like a Target or Wal-Mart, or even online:

-Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

-Spectrum Naturals Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar

-Dynamic Health  Laboratories Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother

Apple cider vinegar is helpful for our hair because, unlike shampoo, it removes excess buildup from the products we use. The vinegar also makes our hair shiny, soft and smooth. As for our skin, apple cider vinegar helps maintain a perfect balance between oily and dry skin. The vinegar can also soften our skin and lighten up blemishes

To get the results that our hair and skin deserve, here are a few apple cider vinegar treatments that can easily be made at home:
